Director of Finance

As Director of Finance at Symetrix, Philippe Courtemanche is responsible for accounting and financial operations and general administration of the company.

 

Prior to joining Symetrix, Mr. Courtemanche was Director of Finance at Lipso Systems, a small, fast-growing Montreal company that designed turnkey mobile solutions, where he was responsible for reviewing the company’s financial management processes. Under his leadership, the Lipso Systems team successfully negotiated a major financing arrangement with the Business Development Bank of Canada (BDC) and the National Research Council of Canada (NRCC).

 

From 2000 to 2007, Mr. Courtemanche held several positions at PricewaterhouseCoopers. As a director, he managed teams in carrying out audit mandates for companies in various sectors of activity, from small private businesses to multinationals registered with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). 

 

Mr. Courtemanche holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Université du Québec à Montréal and is a Chartered Accountant.
